by

April 23, 2015

The latest NVP (Netherlands Private Equity Association) research shows that investments in Dutch companies by private equity and venture capital firms rose considerably, from EUR 2.4 billion in 2013 to USD 3.1 billion in 2014. The capital financed a record number of companies (386 deals). Local investors were particularly active, said NVP. Almost EUR 170 million flowed into venture capital providing 226 startups with equity financing, the highest number it has ever recorded. About EUR 1.4 billion fundraising took place as well. The NVP predicts further growth is likely for 2015. (Image source: NVP)
